UNDERWORLD-THE AWAKENING.....Well Katie is back. The quartet of films dates back to 2003. Kate Beckinsale left for the third film (smart girl) The Rise of the Lycans (2009) but, obviously she was running out of Christmas present money and offered her services for this piece of gore. The plot is, and he means this sincerely folks, daft. Humans (us) have discovered that there are Vampires and Lycans (no, not Lord Lycan) out in the streets (it has only taken 10 years and $ films). A war prevails between the three (nothing new if you read today’s news regarding the world) to try and kill the evil doers. Enter the vampire warrior Princess, Selene (Kate) to save the day and kill us humans. Like most trilogies or quartets, the first one is good and then it goes down hill from there. The last two have been pushing the envelope and, I really hope that there are no more. Mind you, I wouldn't mind being bitten by the lovely Katie.
